"Two years ago today, I underwent my sixth spinal surgery—a surgery that, through no fault of my incredible spinal surgeon, nearly cost me my life. As difficult as that experience was, it completely transformed me as a person and changed my life for the better.

Today, I’m celebrating just how far we’ve come by dancing and making a video in gratitude for my amazing Regenerative Orthopaedics and Spine Institute (ROSI) care team. Words can’t express how thankful I am for each of you—Lisa, Dr. Ploska, and the incredible support nurses Emma, Christian, Dana, Kim, and most recently, Brittney. I wouldn’t have made it without every single one of you. Whether you lifted me in my weakest moments or challenged me to tap into my stubborn determination to fight for myself, you’ve been there every step of the way, ensuring I had the best possible outcome. You are, and will always be, my people. Love you all so much!

P.S. A special thanks from my old man dog, who was on the floor dancing with me today. He’s so grateful to have his dancing mom back—it’s one of his favorite things to do with me!

Enjoy the video and know that this milestone is yours to celebrate, too. My amazing best friend and family also stood by my side, and together, we’ve come so far—from a wheelchair and 250 pounds to running ten miles. Look at us now! We’ve got this!

❤️ Ivy
